[78-L] Peddle Pumping: Red State Foot Fetish

In order to put this in context, I’m going to say the word “78,” then 
talk about a cultural phenomenon now afflicting this country: Peddle 
pumping. The phenomenon is most strongly identified with Red States. To 
wit:“Conservative guys, working class guys, like the idea of a very 
ladylike foot with a perfect pedicure in a big, old truck.” It’s a 
combination of a phallic symbol (the gas pedal) welded to the 
testosterone rush of an engine’s roar shaking a mud-splattered truck. 
The experience puts a tingle where they tinkle! So says The Beast on 
Internet. I would quote more, but I blush. If you want to see the 
actual thing, according to The Beast there are already thousands of 
videos available (and numerous Web sites, too). Now dig this: According 
to one expert on the subject, this fetish is “largely confined to 
Republican-leaning states. The highest concentration of pedal-pumping 
content providers are located in the Southeast and a fetish almost

this a welcome form of “safe sex” in an era where STD cases are as 
prevalent as NASCAR bumper stickers.
