I had an original Apple 45 of "Hey Jude" and I don't believe it was edited;The same was said of Steam's "Na Na,Hey Hey(Kiss Him Goodbye)".I had that one too.

On the "Complete Bitches Brew Sessions" longbox, there is only one 
take: 26'58".

"Hey Jude" by The Beatles is 7'11" on 45 (no editing, I think); that's 
not uncommon.
