Did you notice at the bottom of the page there is a copyright notice 
"Audio: Copyright © CBC, 1954, 2000."  Can they do that?? Or is it their 
"restoration" that they are claiming?

I also commend the article that is referenced in the original page, 
which gives details about what is in the CBC files.

The production was directed by Andrew Allen, and I suppose the book I 
had mentioned is the bio of Allen that I have somewhere around here.  
The story about Reubin Ship is fascinating.  We never hear about him 
when the blacklist is discussed. but his seems the most dramatic story.  
And even more than Dalton Trumbo, Ship seems to have really gotten the 
last laugh!!
