[78-L] Rex Hollywood

Thanks Geoffrey.  It's because of what you wrote in your book, similar to what's stated below that I bought that CD shortly after I saw the Rex record, then referenced your book about the label.  So I just got it and listened to it this past week!

For more information on Rex Hollywood, Hollywood, Fentone, Excelsior, 
Dolphins of Hollywood, and 4 Star labels, see the 96-page booklet in 
the Uptown CD set “Charles ‘Baron’ Mingus, West Coast 1945-49” on 
Uptown UPCD 27-48. The set was issued in 2000 and may be out of print. 
There are lots of photos of the musicians and record labels, 
commentary, a discography, and a solography for each recording. It’s a 
prime example of the excellent work producers Bob Sunenblick and Chuck 
Messa do. The booklet alone is worth the price of the CD. It is equal 
to anything Mosaic has produced.
