I only deal with 78's! A milk box full of 78's (c.125 records) weighs around
65 lb.(62.5 for the records, which weigh 1/2 lb. each). I currently have
about
400 or so full milk boci stacked around my house (both floors and the
basement,
where I have a dehumidifier!). I haven't counted my records for 20 or more
years...but I estimate my holdings as c. 57,000 78's...about 28,500 lb. or
just
over 14 TONS of shellac! I'm hoping I'm done with moving...?!
