Hi Russell,
    That estimate seems rather high to me as I don't think the total 
number of European Berliners would be more than five thousand titles and 
I am sure EMI does not hold a full collection of Berliner shellacs. I 
understand some Berliner metals exist in the US but do any British or 
Continental metals pre 1901 survive?
