It seems like some of this is condensed from Tim Gracyk's piece on Billy Golden from his encyclopedia. It is entirely possible that Golden made his debut in 1875 even if he was born in 1862; an enormous amount of kids made their show business debuts early on like this, not only in 1875 but long after.
