[78-L] Bizarre Question

I don't think this is odd.
 
Only a few years ago the papers of composer Leo Fall were offered for sale, 
 for big bucks, by a rare music dealer.  I believe he wanted $25Gs.   Fall 
died in 1925.

I just found  out that some years ago, the Jan Savitt music library was
offered for sale  on E-bay. Does anyone remember seeing this, and whether
someone actually  bid on it and won?
