It's always been in my mind that while he was writing the Record Books, in which Victor records frequently come out on top, (though not always, Beecham and Weingartner records being a constant exception), that he was somehow associated with R.C.A.. There are many albums of Victor 78s where he wrote the liner notes on the inside front covers. I've never seen a Columbia album with his name on it.
