Maybe you could just buy a ticket for the records. Two or three boxes would
fit in the seat space and weigh less than many adults. 8-)

to buy 78's from Europe and have them mailed to us "over here"...?!
Isn't one allowed to carry 66 lbs (30 kg) of baggage with one when
flying the Atlantic?! That would be around 132 78's...which would
cost around $800-900 to mail...much cheaper to take a round-trip
"charter" flight to a European destination (c. $500, including taxes
and fees...!) and carry a large suitcase to be used to bring your
78's back over here!!
