I was astonished last week to see the Peter and the Wolf Musicraft album
in an article illustration about albums for Christmas 1945 -- I had no
idea it was from before 1946 or 47.  Now to see that it was apparently
recorded in April or May 1944 is even more astonishing to me.  I had no
idea it was a wartime recording.
