The Compo Company, up here in Canada, released its first elctric recording
in January 1925. This is why VTM (C) promoted their electric releases (as
"VE Process") from their first appearance onward...and even put out a promo
record pairing electric and acoustic versions of a Jack Shilkret
recording...!
