Well, my totally non-scientific sampling has landed me 3 copies of the Ella
version and never one of the "replaced" versions.  I dunno what that says
really, since I don't actively look for the disc, but I've found my three
Ellas with very little effort or financial outlay...

According to Russ Connor in at least one of the BG discographies he wrote,
the Victor sides were pulled. But as I remember, they'd been out for a time
before Victor did this. So who knows how many copies were actually sold?
This is certainly not a case like "Popcorn Man," which did not even hit
stores before it was pulled. Last I heard, six copies are known to exist.
And Victor destroyed the master to boot.
