[78-L] ?Louis Rapp => Barry Wood?

Folks,
Victor 24049-B "Ask yourself who loves you" credits Louis Rapp as the vocalist for Buddy Rogers & his California Cavaliers.
Is this the younger brother of Barney Rapp (ne Rappaport), and who later changed his name to Barry Wood?  Is this the same Barry Wood who sang on "Your hit parade"?
The web scuttlebutt says that Barry Wood had played for Rogers, but left because he didn't get enough outings as singer.  There is also a reference to Louis Rapp playing sax with Rogers c. 1931-32.  Can I assume this is the same person, and not, perhaps, another Rapp brother?
