>>> how worthless "Near You" by Francis Craig on Bullet is. That is just a fact.
>> No, no. I'm not talking about the musical merits of "Near You."
>> It was certainly an inoffensive, and on a good day, pleasant record.
>> When I say worthless, I meant as a collectible. Cary Ginell

As viewers of Leah's documentary know, Kurt has an autographed copy of
the record. And yes, Bill K, Milton Berle did use the song as his theme
song. I've been trying to figure out if he used it because it was
popular or if it became popular because he used it. Its longevity and
place on the charts make almost all other records pale in comparison --
probably more than all the rock records being discussed combined. I
have said for decades that there is a copy of this record in EVERY junk
pile in the country.

Ads are already a "tune-out". Weren't you afraid that this music bed
would make a PERMANENT tune-out????

Pencil-neck Geek on Rhino??? I think I also played it in Kentucky. I
have it, but you would have to pry it out of my pencilwristed hands.
