[78-L] Vic Berton Quartet on ebay

Vic Berton is a legend on jazz tympani (!) like Bix is on horn -- and
they used to play together.  So much so that Vic's brother Ralph wrote a
bio of Bix but you learn more about Ralph than Bix (such as when Ralph
lost his virginity).  If this is center-start I can't tell you what it
is.  No numbers are mentioned or seen.  The question is not if anybody
knows of the Vic Berton Quartet, but if anybody knows of this recording!
 I would hope that it actually sounds better than this transfer!  The
bass is way way too strong -- sounds like a thumper-car but more
distortion.
