Not exactly true! What DOES change is the reason for our enjoyment...!
As we evolve from "young upstarts" through "responsible(?) adults" and
on into "old f...ogies," we continue to enjoy things of our youth...except
the reason has become "nostalgia!"
Since virtually all of us here on 78-L own records which are MUCH older
than we are, we aren't being nostalgic (well, we ARE to some extent,
since we have enjoyed our 78's for a few decades...?!)!
The scary thought is that around 2060 there will be innumerable aging
codgers/codgerettes waxing nostalgic about to-day's hit music...?!
