According to the newsletter, the classical and opera shorts have the hardest
time getting funding. Most of the funding for these shorts comes from
private sources, and most donors want to save the vaudeville and jazz
shorts. Originally one of the members of the Getty family was going to foot
the entire bill for all operatic and classical shorts that could be
restored, but he died before funding was finalized.
So they wait........
