-it's the little plastic adapter we used in the centre of a 45 to play them on 
a turntable that only had a spindle sized for the hole in the middle of an LP 
(33-1/3(). Again, the vinyl era.

-It's always nice to hear from the youngn's in the crowd. These adapters are 
affectionately known as "Spiders"
