[78-L] Philco Demo Album 78s ?

I'd bet at least a few of these 10" records were LPs; Philco model numbers
had used a system which had the model year as a prefix since the mid/late
1930s but this was discontinued around 1954. I remember seeing that 'Famous
for quality the world over' logo in the lid of the model 1700 record player
my parents had (which they'd bought in 1958); stylistically your album is
closer to its appearance than, say, the earlier 51-1732 model they'd had
(and had given my grandparents long before I was born). (The 51-1732
certainly still looked more like something out of the 1940s but it had their
M-22 changer, their first three-speed model)
