For those of you who have marveled at those gawdawful Brunswicks by The King of the Ivories, who played as if he was wearing mittens, here's more than I've ever read about him anywhere else. 
We know that he was a convicted felon, we know (with a little research) that he broadcast over WOS in Jefferson City, MO, but did we know how popular he was?
