Tom Dreesen just told a variation on the gag about Joe Venuti giving Wingy Manone one glove for Christmas and the other glove the following year. In this version, Jilly Rizzo and Sammy Davis, Jr. each had a glass eye, so each Christmas Frank would buy a pair of binoculars and give half to each. dl
