[78-L] Early portable electric recording? [FWD]

I've seen pictures of the HMV mobile van, but I'm buggeed if I can find 'em on Google....  I think there might be one in the book "Elgar on
Record", if aybody has it and could put up a scan.  HMV used it at Covent Garden in 1926 and at Three Choirs festivals to record Elgar conducting.
One site the came up on G referred to a 'mobile van and landlines' which makes me wonder if the cutting turntables were in the van, ir if it were only the control panel feeding a phone line back to the studio....?
