Then there was the song about the hapless reindeer that was stationed
directly behind Rudolph.  Occasionally, Rudolph would forget to signal when
he was about to land on a rooftop, and thus arose the saga of "Randolph, The
Brown Nose Reindeer."

I was a VERY small childlet when "Rudolph" first emerged...and I dimly
recall
our family having a "booklet" of the story, handed out by Montgomery Ward!
Given that was 2/3 century ago (or thereabouts), I no longer own the book,
nor do I have any idea what may have been its fate...?!
 
Oh, and...one of our "family Christmas traditions" was the annual playing of
Colman's (IIRC) Decca album version of "The Christmas Carol!"
