Actually Bing was known to have joked about himself and Todd. I
remember a routine from a broadcast that was on some LP where Crosby and
two other people are introducing themselves, possibly Hope and Sinatra.
I can't remember the exact lines, only the rhythm and the punch line.
Hope might have said "I'm Bob Hope, I sing like Sinatra." And Sinatra
says, "I'm Frank Sinatra, I sing like Bing Crosby." Then Crosby says,
"I'm Bing Crosby, I sing like Dick Todd." I wish I could remember this
exactly -- does this ring any bells with anyone?
