[78-L] Fw: Frank Sinatra's new release

I'd like to let it be known that I didn't find it amusing, either.  I
forwarded the link just to answer the question about what "should be played
in airports."  I don't think it should be, of course, and I have known a lot
of fine Muslims and Sikhs over the years.  BTW, this has been going around
for a few years, so it's nothing new.

Also, in the Syracuse area where I live, a few years ago some young people
destroyed a Sikh house of worship in the mistaken belief that the temple
called "Gobind Sadan" was called "Go Bin Laden" and was a terrorist center.
Of course, decent people in the CNY community were aghast at this action and
supported the Sikhs.  To their credit, the Sikhs forgave these young people
for what they did, and the temple has been rebuilt, while the youths who
burned it have since renounced their actions and paid their debt to
society.

Also, Frank Sinatra was noted for being an unprejudiced person, and although
I can't speak for him, I'm sure he would not have been pleased to have his
image and imitation of his voice used for these ends.

As for someone who still couldn't see the link...you didn't miss much,
believe me.
