The Only one I remember that might fill the bill was a reissue of Dorsey Brothers Associated ET's from early 1935. It was typical of their '30's output: Solitude, By Heck, Dippermouth, Weary Blues plus some Bob Crosby vocals on I Was Lucky and Night Wind. Fine music, atrocious re-engineering. I think HMV also released it.
