[78-L] Snader Telescriptions was Unexpected (NON-sexy!) LP

Anyone know the copyright status, ownership, licensing etc. for the
SNADER telescriptions (late 40's/early 50's)?
The WEAVERS performances were issued on DVD as part of the BEAR FAMILY set,
and the CAMAY label (one of those 99c outfits from the 60's) issued 
a number of albums from Snader soundtracks (Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee).  IIRC Camay had
some legal problems relating to one such album - don't know that it was
anything other than a star with clout and money to sue, rather than a 
valid claim.

Design had access to 30s transcription discs..that's where they got those 
Dorsey Brothers sides that they put out on various labels. Similar story with 
vintage Jan Peerce tracks which were all taken from Associated. Whether they 
actually bought the rights to them or not, who knows? Seems unlikely, even 
though Associated and Muzak were and are still around. Design also made new 
recordings, so you never know..I picked up one by Charlie Spivak the other day, 
and the jacket says it was recorded in July 1958.

Meanwhile, back to my sexy LP. Actually it's pretty innocent cheesecake. Good 
thing, too, since this girl looks pretty young.
