[78-L] David Stone Martin

David Stone Martin was a noted illustrator and created covers for many jazz LPs in the 50s and 60s, but his work in the 40s (and 30s??) for 78 rpm album covers seems to be a bit more obscure.  There are literally hundreds of web pages chronicling his work on LP covers, but I haven't been able to find much about his earlier work.  Any ideas where I might find this info?
