I've got the Everett Dirksen Christmas album.  Really.  (Sorry, its an 
LP and not a 78.)  Just the thought of such a think is frightening.  I 
grabbed it for free from the radio station I used to work at when they 
dumped their albums.  Fortunately he recites the lyrics over a musical 
bed.  If he had actually tried to sing, well, words can't express the 
horror.

A pot of marigolds to anyone who remembers who Dirksen was.  (And 2 pots 
to anyone who gets the marigold connection.)
