[78-L] Now's your chance, boys and girls

I've seen some squirming in my day but this takes the cake. You've cleverly
changed the subject away from your peurile criticism
of Dave Lennick's stated opinion to accusing some of 78 rpm members of
taking a "hobby so seriously."
What you originally seemed to reflect displeasure with Dave's use of the
appelation "Lenny"
Now suddenly, you're philosophically above it all and you remind us that
'Reality is what really matters in life:"
I suppose in contrast to thin skins?
There may be some in this group but what do we call an objection to using
"Lenny" instead of Leonard Bernstein.
Ain't that as thin as skin can get?

Steve,
That's all it was....my personal view......thanks for your welcome and kind
comment. Yes, I've certainly encountered some "thin-skinners" on the board,
but hoped, perhaps, that there were a great many 78 rpm enthusiasts here who
didn't take the hobby so seriously. Let's face it, it's a HOBBY, such as
stamp collecting, film collecting and so forth....When a hobby becomes such
a serious matter that we lose sight of reality, then it's best to take a
step back and realize what matters most in life.

Wow, you folks got some thin skins. I didn't see any snark in Jason's post
at all. I thought he was trying to be clever, and paying you a compliment in
the process.
