Hi all, 
Not long ago someone, I think it was Uncle Dave Lewis, provided the URL for a animated radio ad that caused considerable discussion.  I want to thank him for pointing me to this website. It is a treasure trove of early short film.  Here is an extended ad for Phillips products from 1938, which has sound by Ambrose and his Orchestra and very funky animation.
The website is well worth exploring.  It can also consume lots of time.
