Well I'm fairly confident that Charlie Poole is looking dow  with approval on the British fans who put a monument on his unmarked grave....

 

....and as far as the morbidity of visiting gravesites, I do it regularly for my late famiy members, and, when I can, to the graves of Bill Monroe and Uncle Dave Macon. It provides me with great sites for meditating and remembering. If that's morbid I guess I'll have to live with it...
