[78-L] Soupy Sales: One of jazz's best friends is gone

Posts of this sort always remind me that we 78-ophiles are ALL "not getting
any younger"...and that many, if not most, of us are far enough into 
"senior-
citizenhood" that we never know for absolute sure, whether we will be 
getting
up the next morning when we go to bed...?! There are probably more
octogenarians (and nongenarians, even "centogenarians?") among our
subscribers than in any ordinary "community"...?!

In another decade or so, a LOT of extensive 78 collections will show up on
"the market" (I hope so, rather than being sent to landfills by the 
surviving
family members...?!) as their owners "go see Jesus!" All you young 78 folks
can expect a windfall...?!
