If you're thinking of responding to this person don't worry about it.  He has already sold the books.

Hi, everyone.  The following is an e-mail from someone who needs a little info and direction.  He would appreciate replies directly to his e-mail.  Thanks!

----------------------------------
I am digging for information on 3  "Bob-O-Link" books I recently discovered, with the records front and back.  One is a Gilbert, Reading Book No. 1;  the other 2 are La Velles, Song books number 1 and 2 (these are separate copies, rather than the two together).  The dates on them are 1922-23, and they have shipping covers as well which have the titles on them, along with a generic picture and cover decorations on the back.  The Gilbert cover also has a label on it as part of the cover, not pasted.  The records are all there, but one is broken along one edge (the piece is intact), and the sleeves are securely attached to the books front and back.  The record numbers all begin with 7, which does not jive with the numbers listed on the glued in sleeves, which all have numbers beginning with 2.

Anyway, I am having some bit of difficulty finding much about these.  Since I hope to sell them at a fair price, but not get taken, I would like to get as much information as I can.  It appears to me that these might be relatively rare, especially with the shipping covers and all the records.

I have been in communication with one gentleman, Peter, who is interested; but I am not certain all of his information is necessarily accurate, though he appears to be one of the best informed.  Since he is a collector and more cognizant of the items than I, I just want to make sure that I have all the information possible before letting them go.

Thank you for any information you might be able to share with me.

Sincerely,
Wes Fish
