In the 20s there were many different devices marketed to allow the
playing of your radio thru your phonograph horn.  Some were attachments
that would be placed on your tone arm instead of the reproducer, and
others were things you would put your needle onto.  In all cases they
were really just modifications of a headphone unit.

 Here's a patent showing Pathe's design for the same idea, mounted in
their 
own radio/phono with Actuelle cone. They were also made for regular
lateral 
& Edison machines.
