[78-L] ^Grog back - a short explanation

This post no doubt caught/will catch a lot of you by surprise. Grog was 
a character invented here on 78L many years ago (in 78L Stone Age) to 
describe how sound was recorded before... well, before! And the labels 
these seminal musical masterpieces were released on. My favorite thread 
was one about building a stone tone arm so the earth could be played as 
it rotates under the stylus.
Very old technology.
