[78-L] Debroy Somers - pronunciation

I have always known it to be DEBB-ROY but said with haste without any separation of DE and BROY.
 
This is how Malcolm Laycock who presented dance band shows on BBC Radio said it.

duh BROY

Rhymes with de BOY. Anyone know for sure?
