This is a conundrum. But first, my omission. I did have notation of mxs 5845 thru 5847 - Ellington. That's session number 145, 11 Dec 1946. That was followed by session 146 - 18 Dec 1946, also Ellington, but mx numbers - 5841 & 5842 are out of sequence, being lower than those of the prior session. That leaves mxs 5843 & 5844 unaccounted for by me. There are several instances where the mx numbers do not precisely follow the chronological dating.
The following that you list must be from sessions numbered 147 thru 160:
5870-73 S.Vaughn (Mus 503/504)
5882-85 Polka Dots...
5886-93 M.Torme
5902-04 M.Cross
The conundrum are the following:
6079 Teena Denny (Mus 565)
6082-83 S.Vaughn
6097-98 M.Carson
According to my chart, those mx numbers fall between sessions 193 - King Odom - 12 Jan 1948 - mxs 6075 thru 6078 and session 196 - Carl Sandberg.- 1 Jul 1948 - mxs 6124 thru 6133. Thus, the above listed 3 mx groupings would seemingly fall into sessions 194 and 195, but that seems illogical. Unfortunately, a number of the session sheets were missing. Other than the gap from sessions 147 thru 160, I have no info on the following. The mx numbers I list are based those I have listed from the preceding and following session number.
21 - mxs 5238 thru 5241 - prob. Jan 1945
36 - mxs 5296 thru 5299 - mid-Aug to early Sep 1945
42 & 44- mxs 5322 thru 5330.
Here is another instance of mx numbers out of sequence. Session 41 - mxs 5314 thru 5317 - 23 Oct 1945 and session 43 - mxs 5318 thru 5321 - 31 Oct 1945. So, 5322 and subsequent three are probably from session 42 and 5326 thru 5329 probably come from session 44.
76 - mxs 5461 thru 5464 - likely late Apr 1946.
80 - mxs 5475 thru 5480 - end of Apr or very early May 1946.
85 - mxs 5497 thru 5500 - prob mid-May 1946
110 - mxs 5609 thru 5612 - prob first part of July 1946
116 - mx numbers for this period are all askew. For example, session 115 is Adele Clarke, mxs 5584 and 5526 thru 5528 - 6 Aug 1946. Normally, those mx numbers would have been May 1946 and, in any event, I have Sylvia Marlow - session 91 - 21 May 1946 for mxs 5523 thru 5528. I haven't sat down and tried to figure out which mx numbers are missing from my list. It's possible that I miscopied some mx numbers, but I don't think I would have mistaken 5584 for 5684. The latter was used for Milton Cross - 17 Sep 1946 - session 122 - 17 Sep 1946
130 - mxs 5734 & 5735 - prob mod-Oct 1946.
139 - mxs 5775 thru 5790 - a rather big stretch for one session.
It is entirely possible that the sheets from which I copied contain errors. I notice that for session 118 - Milton Cross, I list mxs 5177 thru 5184 - 5 Sep 1946. Likely I'd have thought they should be 5600, not 5100 numbers. But the 5677 thru 5684 are used for Phil Brito w. walter Gross, Gordon McRae w. Walter Gross and Milton Cross - sessions 120, 121 and 122 - all mid-Sep 1946. Mxs 5177 thru 5184 are also by Milton Cross w. Mario Janaro, but that's session number 10 from 1 May 1944. could session 118 have been a remake of session 10, two and half years later?

5882-85 Polka Dots...
5886-93 M.Torme
5902-04 M.Cross
6079 Teena Denny (Mus 565)
6082-83 S.Vaughn
6097-98 M.Carson

>>> Would like to know what Musicraft mxs 5843 thru 5922 are - roughly latter
part of Dec 1946 thru mid-Oct 1947. Likewise, mx 6079 thru 6123. That's a large
stretch, but accounts for only two recording sessions: numbers 194 & 195.
