Sorry - Cirencester is sometimes pronounced 'Siren sester', and
sometimes 'Sister'. But it's not 'Chester' , because that is another
place entirely; Chester is the county town of Cheshire, just
south/south-west of Manchester (north-west England). Chester is
pronounced, well, 'Chess-ter'. Cheshire is pronounced Chesher.
Cirencester is in the county of Gloucestershire (pronounced
Glosstersher).
