Hi, all.

I'm new to the list, and amazed at what people own and know.? So I'm hoping some of you can be a resource to help me with a lecture I'm presenting over Labor Day weekend for the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles on the "Sights and Sounds of Egyptomania."?

The inspiration for this lecture came from? my desire to share my collection of hard-to-find Oriental and Egyptian inspired sheet music c. 1900-1925 with our group.?? Then I set out to illustrate the lecture with as many original sound recordings as I could find to match.? To my surprise, I've found?several good?recordings through collectors and various online sites.???But I ?have come up short looking for a?few I'd love to have.?

If any of you happen to own these records, and can generate a digital file (i.e., mp3) which you can send me to use in my lecture, I'd be very, very grateful.

I'm looking in particular for versions with vocals of "Fatima Brown," "Cleopatra Finnegan," "Cleopatra" from "Sinbad" (orig. sung by Arthur Collins), "Mummy Mine" sung by Vernon Dahlhart, ?and "Old King Tut Was a Wise Old Nut" originally performed on the radio by Leo Fitzgerald on the Nighthawks Radio Hour.? I don't?know that it was ever recorded, but one of you might know better.????

If any of you happen to own any other similarly themed Cleomania/Tutmania/Egyptomania?tunes, please let me know, too, as I might not have what you do.

Thanks so much!
