As I mentioned on a previous occasion, one possible way to contact the successful buyer is to go to the seller's ebay page and see if the former has left feedback. If so, you will have the buyer's ID. Then you'll be able to send a message to the buyer after you look him or her up.

I hope that some of you know of my Adrian Rollini Project. If you like to know about,
please write to me off-list.

Recently on Oboy a test was offered of an electrical Pathe recording by the California
Ramblers, the band where Rollini started to play the bass sax.
The tune was Gotta Getta Girl and the date quoted for the test was 18 Nov 1924 (on that
date the band recorded for Edison as well!).
I did not win the record, but then the winner backed out and the record Oboyed once more.
Again I missed it......... So I wrote to the seller and asked to send me an mp3 or to
forward my request to the lucky winner. There was no reply.....

Since this is the kind of material that I need for my project, the above is a sad story.
My hope is that any of you can tell me more about this remarkable test and/or help me to
that mp3.

BTW, I believe that Pathe did not issue electrical recordings before 1927
