[78-L] Japanese record labels

When written vertically, Japanese has always been written starting from upper right.  It seems that when written horizontally, the change from writing right-to-left to left-to-right took place immediately after World War II.  Unfortunately, I can't provide an exact date.

Could someone tell me what date Japan went to writing from right to left, to left to 
right on record labels.
