[78-L] Zonophone/ Harry Lauder Speed

Does the disc designate 78 as the speed?? 
I find 80-82 rpm plays my early Lauders and other pre 1920 discs pretty well although this is not correct right across the board...

I have Victor 9012, and that's how I made my determination. I also 
compared his voice to that of some Edison cylinders. Thanks for the info.
