Could anyone guide me on the history of the Futurist recordings on 78
rpm? I am particularly interested in Russolo and Marinetti but any
information about other more obscure recordings would be welcome.

regards,
Maria

Maria,

Most of these are modern recreations:

http://www.ubu.com/sound/balla.html

http://www.ubu.com/sound/farfa.html

http://www.ubu.com/sound/russolo_l.html

In the Russolo section, only the "Corale" and "Serenata" are authentic. There was a recording of Marinetti, from 1931, about 4-5 years ago at futurism.org.uk but that page appears wholly blank now.
