[78-L] Misattributed quotes, was: Too late to circle the wagons [FWD]

Unfortunately, it's not always clear as a thread grows in length, as posts are posted, replies made, replies to the replies and so on, who actually wrote what....   More than once have I commented on something "x" said, only to be told by "x" that it wasn't him as said it; and conversely, people have commented on things "I" said, which I didn't....  All because it appears from the jumbled layout of the thread that "x" wrote this, or harkinmike wrote that.  There must be a way to keep a threead straight, but if it's been found, then nobody's using it!
