Sounds like Bob Roberts to me, too. I love records and songs from this
period, as well. My collection is very Billy Murray heavy, but I enjoy
Roberts, Len Spencer, Dan W. Quinn, Arthur Collins, et al., as well as most
of the well-known quartets.
Your Victor machine is beautiful, as well.
