While we all pray for Mike Seeger and his health issues, I wanted to share that yesterday I receive a copy of a terrific new DVD documentary on Mike and his fellow New Lost City Ramblers which was just released by Chris Strachwitz via his Arhoolie Foundation. The DVD contains a 57 minute new documentary "Always Been A Rambler" with some great vintage footage and interviews. (I love the footage that John Cohen shot with Maybelle and Sara Carter. There's also 24 minutes of rare NLCR performance. 
 
I wanted folks to know about it. Smithsonian Folkways has a new NLCR box set (my copy should be arriving this week) . You can see the trailer for the main film at:
