That R at the end explains a bit of why ITM always sounded a bit inferior to
a lot of records from the era! Which leads me to ask, did Victor save the
source versions of recordings issued from a dubbing? Or in other words, is
there possibly a matrix BS.038170-1 but not suffixed R in the vault next to
BS.038170-1R?
