According to Taylor's discography, WRAX 2654/5 and 2662/2 - Harty/Halle, including both 1st and 2nd takes, were recorded on 2 May 1927.

I need some help in dating two English Columbia test pressings. The
matrix numbers are:

RAX 2658

RAX 2659

I want to think they are from 1927 but I'm hoping someone on the list
will know for certain.

These are two single-sided 12-inch 78s with the Columbia and 2 notes
embossed on the plain side.

The recordings are the Queen Mab Scherzo, Parts 1 and 2, by Sir
Hamilton Harty and the Halle Orchestra.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Roger Wade
